Your documents

Every tool on this site — merging, splitting, compressing, converting between PDF and images, converting to and from Word, rotating pages and adding page numbers — runs inside your web browser. The file you choose is read from your device by the page itself, the result is built in your browser's memory, and that result is handed directly to your browser's download function.

This means your documents are not uploaded to our servers, not stored, not logged and not shared with anyone. There is no copy of your file for us to keep, and no file name, page count or content is transmitted anywhere. Closing or reloading the page clears whatever you had selected.

Hosting and technical logs

Loading these pages is an ordinary web request. Our hosting provider may record standard technical data such as an IP address, a browser user agent, a timestamp and the page requested. This is used to serve and secure the website and never contains anything from your documents.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are used, so that effort goes where it is needed. The events recorded are anonymous and describe actions only — for example that a merge completed and how many files it involved. No file name, file content, email address or other personal identifier is ever sent to Analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies; you can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker and every tool will still work.

Advertising

Hosting is paid for by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure adverts, and in some regions to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can review and change these choices in Google's ad settings. Advertising scripts never receive your documents, because the documents never leave your device in the first place.

Cookies you control

We do not set cookies of our own for accounts, logins or profiles, because the site has none. The cookies present come from the Google services described above and can be cleared or blocked at any time in your browser.

Children

This site is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed at children. No accounts exist and no personal information is requested at any point.

Changes to this policy

If the tools or the services used to run the site change, this page is updated and the date above changes with it.
